Students Reveal The Truth About
Street Smart NLP!
Emails To Friends from Jo Ann Bamdas: Hi Susan, I just took a course that you might find very, very interesting, especially since you are in communications. You may have heard of it. It’s called NLP – NeuroLinguistic Programming (I’m a Certified NLP Practioner now!) It’s great to use in Education. If you are interested, my friend, Peter O’Dell, is teaching it again in October. Check out his web site www.success-is-easy.com. Talk to you soon. Hugs, Jo Ann
Hi Karen, Hope your vacation was wonderful. While you were loafing and having fun (?) with your mother, I was in this intensive NLP class with my friend, Peter O’Dell, for four days. Now I’m a Certified NLP Practioner! Karen, you absolutely have to find a way to take this class, even though I know it is expensive. There is no way you can “read up” about the technique – the four day class is ideal as it takes place Friday through Monday. This is so right up your alley with your Mental Health Counseling education and goals. Many of the folks in the class were counselors and hypnotherapists. This is a great class to also learn hypnosis techniques. Lots of group work in recoding the brain to break bad habits, negative behaviors, etc. Peter is having another class in October. Check out his web site: www.success-is-easy.com. Talk to you soon. Hugs, Jo Ann
Matthew Brownstein: I definitely got more out of the class than I expected because I did not know how many techniques I was missing. I got more personal transformation than I expected. Definitely got a deeper sense of who I am and where I am going.
Paul Chinigo: There’s lots of stuff out there. You basically condensed it and funneled it into something that is easy to understand. You pulled out the stuff that is really effective which saved me a lot of time if I had tried to do it on my own. I got a lot of personal transformation that I am not even fully aware of yet. I’m not the same person I was when I came in four days ago.
Vonnie Danielian: I didn’t know what to expect. I’d read some books on NLP, but it was too confusing. Why torture myself? I’d just go take the course. I’d heard the words, but they just seemed foreign to me. Now, it all has meaning. I know what the words are. My mind is just opened up so much more. I’m a lot more flexible than I was four days ago. Now I understand how to see things from someone else’s perspective. I feel like my head is spinning in a good way. There are things going on inside me that are good. I just don’t know what they are yet. I feel a lot more confident dealing with people now.
Chuck Domm: I’ve been a hypnotherapist for over 25 years and have used some NLP techniques with clients. Lo and behold, I was grandly surprised that there is a number of things that I have been missing out on in working with my clients. There are new ways to condense old models into effective, powerful tools that can be used in five minutes. The amount of new information in this course compared to a similar course I took five years ago is outstanding. They don’t even resemble each other, even though they are under the same title of “NLP Practitioner.” Part of that credit goes to you as an instructor because your level of instruction is very high. It is a clear, dynamic level that brings the student into the experience. They find out they can use it immediately. I got a whole new set of positive behaviors in an instant. It felt like my body was about 50 feet away and then just slammed into me creating a new character, where I literally became a new person in an instant. That was a very good thing!
Dorothy Dunn: When I finished the Basic NLP Class with my head swimming wondering if I could ever master all the techniques. I have gone to some of the Sunday afternoon classes, and that helped a lot. But with this Master Class, I have felt a comfort level that I have never felt before. And I felt really open, relaxed, able to let and experience more, able to pull the information in. So, it was a wonderful step in my journey. I really appreciate the chance to participate. Thank you, Peter!
Gloria Alexander: This is the fourth time I have taken the class with Peter who is a very fine teacher! When Peter is teaching a class, you feel safe in the class. It is okay to make a mistake, it is okay to really learn, it is okay to ask questions. It was a great group of people who helped each other. I feel privileged to be here. And I feel more empowered than ever!
Rich Alexander: Already being a Master Practitioner, I thought I was taking this class just as a review. But I definitely increased my skill set that I can use with clients every day. I was able to have a past life regression, where I had never been able to have one before. And that was not even a main point of the program! We were “just doing” a timeline exercise. Peter is an excellent trainer. I’ve seen a lot of trainers, and Peter really stands out. He knows his stuff, and he is fun to be around.
Bob Phillips: I took the Masters course because I got so much out of the Basic course. This time around I got even more out of it. I can’t wait to start using embedded commands with my customers.
Matthew Brownstein: I came back for the Masters Class because I was so impressed with how valuable the first NLP training was for me—how well it worked for my clients and for me. During this training, I kept seeing it deepening more and more where it can be taken to different levels and how I could be more inventive with it. I am thrilled to have the techniques.
